Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇEVİKBAŞ
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Çevikbaş is a construction management and dispute resolution specialist with extensive international experience in programme leadership, delay analysis, and contractual advisory services on large-scale infrastructure and mega projects. Throughout his professional career, he has led multidisciplinary planning teams and provided strategic guidance on complex time-related disputes in high-value projects.
Since 2016, he has been the Founder and Managing Director of Erachron, an independent consultancy firm specialising in project controls, delay analysis, claims management, and dispute resolution support. Under his leadership, Erachron delivers advisory services in extension of time (EoT) assessments, forensic delay analysis, quantum evaluations, contract administration, and expert-level schedule reviews in accordance with internationally recognised standards and best practices.
In parallel with his professional practice, Dr. Çevikbaş serves as an Associate Professor, lecturing on project management, time and cost control, contract administration, quality management, and construction law. His research focuses on claims management frameworks, dispute resolution mechanisms, BIM-enabled management systems, quality assurance processes, and the development of AI-driven scheduling and planning tools for the construction industry.
He actively integrates academic research with industry practice, advancing data-driven, analytically robust methodologies for time-risk management and contractual decision support in complex construction environments.
Utku ÖZİĞCİ – Principal, Erachron
Utku Öziğici is a senior construction planning, project controls, and dispute resolution professional with extensive experience in complex infrastructure and building projects. He graduated from Boğaziçi University in 2001 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
As Principal at Erachron, he provides strategic leadership in programme management, delay analysis, and claims advisory services. He oversees the development and independent review of baseline schedules, extension of time (EoT) assessments, time impact analyses, and forensic delay evaluations in accordance with internationally recognised best practices. He plays a key role in shaping project time-risk strategies, advising clients on contractual entitlements, and strengthening defensibility in contentious environments.
His dispute resolution expertise includes the preparation and technical substantiation of claims, as well as analytical support in negotiation, adjudication, arbitration, and litigation proceedings. He works closely with legal teams, project directors, and stakeholders to ensure that time-related issues are assessed with methodological rigour and contractual precision.
Utku is fluent in English and has advanced professional proficiency in Spanish, enabling him to operate effectively in international project environments.
